All our web hosting servers run Linux operating systems giving us the reliability and stability
required to host the most demanding websites. Linux-based web servers can be used with any computer with
an Internet connection.
We provide firewall protection for our servers as standard.
In addition to this, we also provide an additional security layer between the firewall and the web server
to prevent unauthorised access to our client's websites.
Our hosting platform includes server-level malware scanning to help identify potentially harmful files and activity. If an issue is detected, we take action at hosting level and notify you so it can be investigated and resolved within the website itself.

WordPress hosting
WordPress runs very well on our hosting platform and is commonly used by our customers for both personal and business websites. All hosting packages support WordPress out of the box, with PHP 8.x, MariaDB databases, automatic SSL certificates and daily backups included as standard. WordPress can be installed using the tools provided in the control panel, or manually if preferred.
Choosing a web hosting package
We have a number of different web hosting packages catering for different requirements and needs. Our Home-plus package is ideal for small sites and getting started. Whereas our Premier package is recommended for business use and multi-site hosting. All hosting includes free SSL certificates (HTTPS) as standard.
Multi-site hosting
It's common for an individual or business to have more than one web site. Our mid to high end packages
can host more than one web site on the same account.
However, it should be noted that the SiteJet web site builder (included) does NOT support accounts with extra domains or sub-domains.
For example, our Premier package can host a total of 5 independent sites, all with separate email accounts
from the same control panel. Businesses with more than one domain name will find this package especially useful as extra domain names
can be used as portals with separate web content in order to drive more visitors to the main site.
NOTE: This type of web hosting package is not recommended for web developers and design companies who will almost certainly require
the more flexible features offered by our reseller hosting packages which combine
multiple hosting accounts with their own control panels.
